Want to change Stream

Dear Sir,

My wife, who is in IInd year B.com (Pass). She has one paper (Economics) as ER in Ist Year, & not passed in IInd year exam of 2009. Now she wants change her stream into B.A course. Is it possible to take direct admission in IInd year or she has to take fresh admission in B.A Ist Year. Pls. tell me.
