22-year-old student of Kirori Mal College, was today found hanging in her hostel room in north Delhi and a suicide note was recovered from there, police said.
The victim has been identified as Ritveja Singh, a third year degree student of KMC, and she was found hanging in a private hostel in Outram Lane of Mukherjee Nagar this morning.
The body was in a decomposed state with police suggesting that she could have committed suicide at least two days ago.
"This morning, some students in the hostel noticed a foul smell emanating from Ritveja's room. They immediately informed their warden, who in turn informed the police," a senior police official said. Ritveja hailed from Patna in Bihar. |
