The University of Delhi runs the BBS/ BFIA degree program under the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences & Humanities. A combined entrance examination for the BBS/ BFIA degree program will be conducted by Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.
An outstanding general management programme, the curriculum for BBS is rigorous, flexible and continually enriched with the latest developments in management theory and practice.
There is a summer training programme: To prepare professionals of high calibre and to make sure that rigorous theory is backed with practical exposures with the latest developments in management theory and practice.
Admission Procedure
Eligibility: Appeared/ Passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/WW/Physically Challenged Categories) in four papers including English for BBS and English and Mathematics for BFIA.
The Entrance Test: Applicants will be called for an objective type written examination. The examination, spread over about two hours, will consist of sections dealing with
Business Aptitude (40 questions)
General Awareness (20 questions)
Quantitative Aptitude (30 questions)
Reasoning Ability (30 questions)
Proficiency in English (30 questions)
Foreign students are exempted form taking the written entrance examination
In all, there are 150 questions to be attempted in 120 minutes.
Entrance Test: Sunday, June 7, 2009
Time: 10 AM - 12.00 PM
Note:
Foreign students seeking admission will have to apply through the Foreign Students Advisor, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi 110007
Those foreign students who have acquired their minimum qualification for admission to BBS from any Indian Board have to apply as general category applicants.
The result of successful candidates in the written test will be displayed on the college (CBS) notice board on 20th June.
If seats remain vacant in any reserved category, the same will be transferred to General Category.
