For the first time in human history, tens of millions of us all over the world are literate in the same language. We all are extremely well-informed by historic standards, thanks to the explosion in education, training, media and travel. We are able to access the world’s finest and most invigorating ideas, inventions and discoveries, due to the advancements in print, sound, and visual media. We are able to communicate almost everywhere, directly and instantly.

Terming Delhi as an educational hub of the country she said that no area can progress until it has enough educational institutes. Dikshit hoped that the theme of the event, ‘Containing Global Challenges’ would encompasses various strategic issues like risk management, macroeconomics, international trade and entrepreneurship, which require long-term vision and solutions. It would also provide an opportunity to discuss each and every aspect of global economy with particular impact of Indian economy. It now time to recover and march forward in consolidating gains of liberalization initiated by the Government of India. Appreciating college’s efforts she said that the college has been producing young business graduates. With more than 13,000 aspirants vying for a little over 200 seats in the Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis (BFIA) in 2009, the college can quite understandably be ranked at the top. Chairman of College Governing body K.K. Mahajan, Treasurer Abhishek Dutt and Director South Campus Prof. Dinesh Singh were also present on the occasion.
