Movie by the makers of 'the pirates of the caribbean' and the diretor of 'harry potter and goblet of fire' is about a persian boy Dastan who is adopted by the king and grows up to be the brave prince of persia. He is wrongly accused for the murder of the old king and sets out to a journey where no one can be trusted. Director has included a supernatural element , that is the dagger that can take the beholder back in time. Based on a video game series, the story is interesting and the potrayal of medieval persian society, culture, and warfare techniques are brilliant. Great performances by Ben Kingsley , Gemma Arterton and Jake Gyllenhaal is a must watch. He has done great stunts. Prince of persia is definately thumbs up!! |
