I don't think the issue is that he doesn't love you. As you already know that he is going through some problem, that might be taking away all his energies. Guys generally take time to really discuss their problems with anyone, even their partners.
Give him some time and in the meanwhile, make sure he knows that you are there for him whenever he needs to talk, make him feel comfortable. Have patience , don't push anything. He'll surely talk to you about it.
